Week 2: The Cheese burger...


Week 2
Right now there is nothing I want to eat more than a cheeseburger, large fry, and chocolate shake from Wendy's. Well, I might want to eat a double with bacon more. Bacon makes everything better.


 Instead, I am devouring burnt, over cooked green beans with mushrooms and a glass of candy cane green teat that is really just mint. Satisfying? Not in the least. It might have been if I paid attention to the stove top this morning. But I didn't.

Did I mention my work owns their own catering company? Today they are testing out some new menu items.  My desk is the next room over and I can smell EVERYTHING. I would settle for whatever it is they are cooking. I know it would appease my appetite. So what is keeping me from rushing out to the cafe or Wendy's right this very second?  Not much, thats for sure. Tonight is Super Bowl Sunday and I know wont be eating healthy then. So if I control myself now I can eat tonight with out much guilt. Plus, since my birthday I've been eating whatever I wanted. I can't use that excuse for too long.

Okay, this past week I ran a total of  12 miles. I use this term loosely because I walked a good portion  of it. But it still got done. I also got a running out buddy. (Yay) One goal down. I've been trying to write down what I eat but I've only done it twice. Still, it's better than before.

Let's see how we do next week.
